A Buck

I like traditions. I believe that stems from a longing to have some control in a life that seemed so often to be spinning out of control. Enough psycho babble. I put a dollar bill in a pocket of my winter coats before I put them away for winter. The snow flies, the wind howls and the temp drops and I have some money!! I am not sure why I do not share this joyous tradition with my family. That might require another trip to the therapist, to give away my newly acquired money.

You should put a $20 in just one coat. Imagine the joy!

Erin,
Can I borrow $20 in the spring?

I do that, too. Such a nice surprise after you've forgotten all about it.

I used to put in $20s too! Now I just don't have any extra $20s, maybe I should start again and use $1s instead--that sounds more feasible.

See if i did this i would randomly remember that i put that 20.00 in my pocket and go hunting for it in the middle of the summer.

One dollar buys you a hot fudge sundae at McDonald's:)

I once just found a $20 (and a lighter, which was also a plus at the time) in a winter coat pocket! It was an awesome feeling.

I used hide twenties throughout my house. But then I'd forget where they were, but remember that I hid them so when I was broke, I'd go digging through everything looking for them. Usually would never find them, though. Maybe someone else happened upon them first? :D

Buttrfly Garden sounds a lot like salt 'n' peppa. Don't squirrels forget where they hide their nuts?

I've never done that - but I've accidently stumbled upon money ... :) I have too good of a memory re: that stuff and when pressed would go to that pocket - even if it's a $1 bill. ;)
