I will bet you anything (if I were the betting kind, that is) that it was a male child that did that.
My male child does these incomprehensible things: - wash his hands with toothpaste - coat the sink with toothpaste - wash his face with bubble bath (which he has to get out of a locked cabinet) oh the list goes on.
I really hate to point this out, but the Arm & Hammer logo (1) represents a pagan god (Vulcan, god of fire and metalworking), and (2) is the symbol of the Socialist Labor Party of America.
Now honestly, I am one of the least sexist people in the world, but sociologically, I just find that boys tend to see thing differently and is mystifying to us female kind ;-)
Frequent them? I ended up writing for them! I've been a frequent contributor to The Dawn Patrol (plug "raving atheist" into the search function) and wrote and produced the video on its flash page.
I gave up promoting atheism a couple of years ago and have abandoned my blog. When I was actively blogging, Christian blogs were pretty much all I frequented because that's where I got my "material." As it happened, getting into a protracted online debate with a theology blog (Veritas) is what led me to my current pro-life activism (see here).
Carla, I'd take your twisted toothpaste tube over what I don't want to ask why over...
Oh, what's that, Karla, you didn't ask.
Well then I'll tell you. Spent hours Saturday cleaning the "toy closet" in the room shared by 3 boys. See how hour is plural? It doesn't matter how plural.
See, I put the 2 larger bags of trash created by the cleaning into the dumpster. But then, when there was a little more to get rid of here and there Sunday, it went into the room garbage can. It was 1/2 full of... garbage.
Tonight at bedtime, the oldest boy tells me that when he went to throw something away, he noticed that there were some things in the can that he really doesn't have any idea why they were in there blah blah blah.
The garbage can is almost empty now instead of it's former 1/2 full self. So, where'd it go, you again didn't ask.
Under. the. dresser.
That was a couple hours ago, and I think my heart rate is almost back to normal.
Um, so, I just can't wait until his homework is done tomorrow and he's practiced piano and trumpet and taken a shower so he can then return under the dresser to it's previously barren state. Into the trash can.
So, I wondered how long my hard work was going to last. 2 days.
ps The only reason I did the cleaning was because I knew that if they did the cleaning, there would have been zero filled trash bags.
Oh, and interesting stuff from atheist. Look what I missed.

Looks like you have a creative one there.....Unless it is a hint that Sarah wants ringlets in her hair today :)
oma,
With 3 boys and 1 girl...the odds are pretty good it's a boy. :)
Yes ladyd it is creatively annoying.
oh and oma,
my youngest washes his hands with yogurt. He may be onto some beauty secret though.

the raving atheist,
That is hardly playful banter but thanks for the heads up on that!!
Carla,
I'm sorry! I forgot where I was! I hope this makes things better.

the raving atheist,
Yes! That is more like it! Thanks for visiting my happy place. :)
Here's a nice Christian toothpaste poem, too.
Cute! Can I ask if you frequent Christian blogs as an atheist? I mean no disrespect with that question.

Okay, now lighten up with this.
Thanks the raving atheist. You are a truly fascinating individual. I could stay and play here all day, but I must get a meatloaf in the oven.
Do you hear that?? The groaning of my cherubs??
Back to the toothpaste: I think it's pretty.
Back on track, Erin. Thanks and happy birthday, girlywhirly.
