I am sitting in the quiet of my house...daydreaming that any minute now, my beautician will come to wash and style my hair. Then my spa team will come to set up massage centers just before the manicurist comes.
I air-dried today (but am going to go curl it now,) brought my crew to my friend's - stayed for the coffee with the moms - left my daughter and a son - then -
I V O T E D.
PS CARLA, HOW'S YOUR HEAD TODAY? (oops, I didn't mean to yell that, especially if it still hurts.)
I wish we had dots. I did not like ours. We had to complete the middle of a line of these little arrows, I didn't like it. Did I say that already? Bad arrows. We like dots. Okay. So we voted already Carla, now give us something to read:)
Maybe we should all be together somewhere having a results party~
Had to re-register this year...not sure what that was all about. Re-registered, voted (didnt' like the arrows either) and was out of there in 10 minutes. Woo Hoo, Alden Township.
I went at about 720am this morning. I was voter 93 where I voted!
Then I went to the library so I could work on a paper for graduate school. I was quite annoyed by a group of people talking with OUTSIDE voices while I was trying to study! argh! Hello can you say LIBRARY!

Blackbelt...do we have the same stylist cuz she's late here too...
Um...after you both wake up from your fantasy you are voting, right??

Head is fine. Heart is heavy.
When you wrote this post I was sleeping. It wasn't even legal to vote yet - even on the East Coast!
But an hour and 10 minutes later, I was in line. 45 minutes later, I had voted.
Voting in Lakeland was a cakewalk. Checked in, got my ballot, filled in my circles and I was outta there.
Filling in those circles reminds me of taking the Iowa Basics Skills Tests in school.
Well, I'm not awake from my fantasy because I want an Obama who is pro-life. I can dream, but better yet, I can pray, can't I?
We voted. I didn't even have to wait.
SJ threw up on Richard's ballot, though. A little something special for the ballot counters, I guess.
Voted! No line in my little city either! Yay!
