It Begins

Walmart is starting to get a little packed with holiday shoppers. Nobody looks merry either. As Sarah and Nathan looked over the movie DVD's I watched a young family in front of the IPod display. The little boy must have been 5ish. He was arguing with his parents about which color IPod he wanted. They were getting him blue and wouldn't he like blue because Daddy has blue? No, green!! I walked away and told my cherubs again that if they could find something under $3 I would buy it for them. We settled in one of the Matchbox toy aisles. Right across from the battery powered kid cars. I am sure in some households, Christmas wouldn't be complete without a $329 Jeep wrapped and ready.

OOH! Good one KarlaK! Madame B indeed. I think no 5 year old in the WORLD should have an ipod before I get one. But that's just me.
