Chemically

My children's elementary school has a Wendys night. All proceeds made go to the school for I don't even know what. We have put it off for years. Tuesday night we went. Screaming, running short people, balloons, friends and fries. I was less than thrilled to be in such a stimulating environment but I put on my happy face and ate my chicken. I had to laugh at my husband and I as we tried to convince Tims to eat his supper. "Come on, eat your burger, have a fry and then you can get a Frosty." I started thinking about what my family was consuming. YUCK. Might as well have said, "Come on, eat your preservative patty with enriched white flour bun and high fructose corn syrup ketchup, have a deep fried in transfat salted piece of what used to be a real potato and then you can get frozen chemicals in a cup."

Timmers could have eaten his napkin and received better nutrition.

You can attack the food, but please leave the frosties out of it! They're innocent, I tell you! :D

Actually, Wendy's is probably one of the best fast food places out there. They removed all their transfatty oils and used to (I don't know if they still do) cook the beef from fresh. Although I feel like it took a turn for the worse once Arby's bought them. I can't eat their burgers anymore, I don't know what it is about them.

Anyway, I'll stop rambling. :D

Oh, come on Karli, making your children injest purely chemical based imitations of real human food is a small price to pay for their education.

I ALWAYS think that to myself when my boyz are eating McD's and I tell them to "finish their nuggets". Yucko.
