I shouldn't have said it. I realized as it came out of my mouth that I wished I could have grabbed the words back and swallowed them with a shot of humility. I am ashamed to admit that when all was chaos this morning, getting fourby40 out the door for worship I yelled, "Am I the only one in this house that can pick anything up off the floor??!!"

I'll bet they all looked at you in wonder for even thinking of such an absurd question. Of course you are!
Then it's a good thing I learned that today isn't it?? Instead of...you know...later on.
My mom used to always say, "Am I the only one in this house that can change the toilet paper roll??" Now I always change the roll (even if it's not my house!). So maybe your kids will someday pick stuff up off the floor!
