I babysat a little boy yesterday. My child to adult ratio was 3 to 1. My boys fought over this boy. Who could talk to him, play with him, drag him around. I tried to keep them all busy and moving from one activity to another. It went something like this. Rescue Heros, snack, puzzles, snack, forts, snack, lunch, snack, screaming and running time, snack, books, snack, nap.

Did you think of trying a snack?
Hey...isn't it your birthday today?! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!
Who took the nap? Them or you?
Happy Birthday!
All four of us followed the napping schedule!! :)
I'm old.
I'm having a childhood memory again. My older sister and I would also fight over my cousin Katie. When we were little little katie liked me better.... then all of the sudden when katie was like 12 BOOM she suddenly like my sister better. Now that we're all adults she it appears she likes us all the same.
Happy Birthday, friend!! (I'm glad they advertised.)
I love following the nap schedule, too. Unfortunately today, I am just going to have to add more coffee instead. (but I'll make it a birthday one in your honor.)
Jana, don't get me started on the cousin thing. It was in my day, and still seems to be today, a pecking order thing. The oldest is always - if not the favorite - then the most respected. When you're third in line... I don't think I need to say any more. But my favorite cousin (or, the cousin I'm closest to?) even today is my cousin who was only 1 yr older than me, but he had only one older sister. He and I had a bond. That remains. We weren't at the bottom of the age pile, but we were very close to it.
sounds like my kinda day.
