Slots

My mind was a complete blank as I stood at the ATM. I could not recall our pin number. I tried a couple that didn't spout forth the cash I sought. I received a receipt for my trouble. PERSONAL ID NUMBER ENTERED IS INCORRECT. PLEASE TRY TRANSACTION AGAIN. I did. I imagined it as some sort of slot machine. If I could guess correctly a bunch of 20's for grocery shopping would be mine, all mine. I was a bear of very little brain at that moment and as I tapped my temple and mumbled think, think, think I had one more number to try before calling my husband. I punched the digits and I won! I won the exact amount of money I needed to feed my family for another week! Yeeeeesssss!

I think the banks would do well to have bells and lights when you withdraw cash. So many people would pay the fees just to think they were a winnah!

Hahaha! So glad you won!

I'm convinced I lost a significant number of synapses with each pregnancy, labor and delivery. The rest of my memory was wiped out by sleep deprivation. :)

Hi Charette!!
Agreed. With each babe, the brain cells left.
