Portraits

Friday night I took The Bigs to get their school pictures done at Super Walmart. I sat back and let them tell the photographer how to do her job. They picked the backgrounds and the poses. Which is hilarious to me because I only purchase the package deal anyway. After the session was done I looked through all of the photos in black and white and cropped and matted and framed over the mantle if I had a mantle. The sales pitch was thrown. I chose the package deals while my children made some kind of crazy movie using all of the props and giggling hysterically. Momma giggled hysterically as we left. 60 pictures for $10.68!

Is that how your schools do photos, with Walmart? Or is that the "Streamer Special?" (And I don't mean that in a bad way. I LIKE it!)

We have the pricey in-town photographers come to the school. As I'm sure you know, 60 pictures is more than I get. And I pay, well, a few times more than the $10.68 you got.

I'm always learnin' somethin' from you :)

Way to take control Carla! I feel so stuck when those little pamphlets come home. This year Mikayla's had only 3 choices! 30.00,35.00,or 40.00! I said I don't think so....And kept taking off things like optional color background, face flaw fixer, and all of those little tiny size photos nobody uses...But I still spent 22.00. Arg. You Rock!

Babe, you've always been really good at this picture thing.

Thanks for taking control and I am proud to say all the pics for all the years for each child are great.

Right now the advertised package at Walmart is 30 pictures for $4.99, people!! Woot!

Good job. Way to have willpower and not get sucked into paying more for sepia or special effects!
