Home

Shoulda stayed home. I thought it would be "fun." Awana(Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) Registration was last night at our church. Tootsie rolls, check writing, picture taking and a clown. Did I mention that every cell of my being craved quiet and longed to be tucked in with a good book at 6pm? Did I mention 300 screaming children and a clown? The Littles couldn't seem to keep their hands off of each other. Fussing, whining, fighting and this Momma said so long to registration. Maybe next year.

My husband is the AWANA commander at our church. Although, we don't do the whole "clown-tootsie-roll thing". But I've worked out a sweet deal in which he takes our four children that are old enough for AWANA. Then I get to stay home for a whole 3 hours (because he has to get there early and be the last to leave) with just the baby...who I conveniently have in bed at 7pm on Wednesdays. I would not trade Wednesday nights for anything...lol.

I have all 4 in kids choir at the church this year (Daddy is choir director.) They leave about 6:20. It's only an hour of heaven. Then I have to pick them up. As wound up as they are at pick up, I told them last week it is not worth it. :(
Maybe I'LL go to bed at 5:45 :)
