I am chastising myself for the following story. Was it really worth it, Carla??
I am a bargain hunter. I love thrift stores and garage sales and hand me downs from friends. In the grocery store I always check the reduced meat section and the sales. I happened to find a gallon of milk with a dollar off sticker. No, it wasn't expired. Yet. The bargain turned sour the minute I poured it on 4 heapin bowls of cereal and watched the faces of my children.

Where is the reduced meat section? I've never heard of this before. Do all grocery stores have one?
Dang-it, that back-fired bargain.
Ditto Jamie's question? Where is it?
I just poured some on the kids cereal yesterday that said Aug.4 - I was worried but it didn't smell or look funny. That's like 16 days overdue! But it was Organic milk, maybe that makes a difference. That might make it worth the money because you don't have to dump it out so soon, and you can use it longer? Who knows?
Have a good Friday Carla :)
Oh, Carla--it might have been worth it to see your kiddos faces...
Time to make pancakes and muffins!
Don't know about your stores, Jamie Lynn, but our discount meats are in the regular meat place, they just have a discount sticker put on them. But we have to shop early, they usually get grabbed before 10 am.
Fresh Market has reduced meats on one end of the meat cooler. I will see y'all there.
I am sorry. Family Fresh. I can't keep it straight when Nathan calls it Family Fresh Market Econo Foods.
