A Fair Time

These are my thoughts about the MN State Fair.

1. Eating a huge buttered cob of corn as you walk the midway is just not a pretty sight. I don't care who you are.

2. A woman who brought her 10 day old son chose him over her 18 month old. Good choice.

3. No matter how much good and free key chains, paper fans, paper hats and moist towelettes you bring home it will never make up for the fact that you didn't bring your children to the fair.

4. The hour old piglets in The Miracle of Birth barn are the cutest things ever! Squuuuueeeee!

5. It's fun to hand out chocolate chip cookies to strangers.

6. If it weren't for my husband I would be wandering around, lost at the fair.

7. My taco salad cost more than the Sky Glider ride.

8. Are high heels really the best choice for footwear? Really?

9. It is a good thing when a talented person enters a Live Talent Show. Otherwise, it's just excruciating.

10. Our 18th year at The Great Minnesota Get Together was awesome! Looking forward to 19!

I'm glad you guys had fun! I think you should call this post "A Fair to Remember."

Oh you are good, Erin.

Carla, now I've got a craving for the chocolate malts and the cheese curds. Mmmm...
So glad you guys have kept up the tradition.

I would have been just fine if you brought me a moist towelette. :) Glad you guys have these neat traditions.
