Coffee Talk

I wish I could type in a Boston accent. Then I could say the word COFFEE in that special way only Bostonians do. I had the best cup of coffee yesterday!! Oh my!! A friend drove to Kwik Trip in Hartford, WI and filled a ginormous cup with French Vanilla cream and Karuba coffee. It cost $1.30! It was the most delicious coffee! Lucky for me, there is a Kwik Twip in Hudson.

I LOVE gas station coffee. I'd choose it any day over $4 Caribou, Starbucks, etc.

Like cah-fee?

Or co-oh-fee?

Yeah, I hear that A LOT 'round here. Especially in Dunkin Donuts.

trenches, where's 'here'?
Because I was going to say that's how I say it - co-oh-fee. Then I looked at Carla's spelling - 'cawwwwwwwww-feeeeee,' and thought, no, maybe that's more how I say it. But I'm from New England (though not MA) so I can.

Maybe it is more like the co-oh-fee. And I do like Dunkin Donuts. I really drink it for the sugar, cream and caffeine. Everything BUT the cawwwfee flavor. Because I hate cawwwfee flavored anything (even co-oh-fee. Aren't I silly.)

I think I'll go get me a grocery store co-oh-fee now.
