I made a tentative portrait appt. for Timothy. I do not have high hopes or expectations. I have been here before. Sarah Beara. She would smile for the first one and lose her marbles for the next 7. She has prepared me well. I haven't had Tim's pictures done for a year. Believe me, I have tried. I have been valiant in my attempts. The boy trying to dive off the table does not make for a joyful mug shot. I am thinking candy might help. For me. For Tims.

Ooh! Do let us know how it goes.
I think pictures of sleeping children are a wonderful thing.
A sleeping toddler at the store? Might require alot of dramamine.
He'd look cute lickin' a Lolly:)
lauralynn,
Like your new pic, speaking of pics. (I can't read what it says from here, though.)
So, Carla, I was wondering if the candy was for you, or for Tims... then I figured the answer would just be 'yes.'
:)
Yes.
I know what you mean! I still have Baby's 9 month portrait on the mantle. Yeah, he's now 3.
I still swear by Tina @ Target here in town. No table to fall off of, lots of candid shots, and super cheap with the coupons.
Best of luck to ya, my dear. I know you'll be gearing up.
It says: "It's been Lovely, but I have to scream now." It is on my blog~
I think he needs a hairy lolly.
DONE!! THE DEED IS DONE!! :)
Rose at Super WalMart in Woodbury received a big hug from this Momma!! He flipped out initially while Kristi friend fed him Skittles. I stepped in to ask if I could hold him. We sat next to each other on two stools. Zoom in, make him smile and snappity.
I AM SO GLAD!! :) All of that drama for $8.53.
Phew!
I hate picture day. (SO stressful to get just one little smile!) So much, in fact, that sometimes I send Daddy to do it! :) They always turn out better when I am not there!!! Then I can look at them objectively and not have to remember how much work they were to get that smile!
