I'm Not Ready

Just realized this. TODAY IS THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! Ok. Deep cleansing breaths. Unclench and deal. There was panic in my words, but I am better now. Thanks. I told Joshua and Sarah that next week is chore week. We have some work to do around here. The week after that is summer school.

Joshua
Rocketry and Space
Chess
Environmental Ed
Rec Games

Sarah
Board Games
Music Keyboarding
Little House on the Prairie(of course)

They will be going from 8am-12pm for 3 weeks. Although they don't seem as thrilled as I am. They call it summer school. I call it Easing Into Summer for Four by 40.

Wow, we have 2 weeks to go. Although, the last week is all 1/2 days (don't ask me the point of that!) and they consist of the following: bubble day, coloring book day, story day. You get the idea.

Your summer school sounds fun. That can't be free, can it? Good categories (or did you make that up?)

It is scary. The house is going to be bursting at the seams with noise and mess. Mikayla was done last Friday- I went to go Grocery Shopping this Monday and she yelled to me, "Make sure to get lots of food Mom! You have another mouth to feed!"
Arg.
PastaRoni here I come :)

I LOVED summer school.
But it's quite possible that I'm a much bigger nerd than your kids are.

Laura - I missed the tie - that was funny.
(Happy anniversary btw - tried to leave you that comment the other day, but I'm unofficial, so I couldn't.)

Isaiah went to E.P. for summer school last year and I loved waving to Josh and Sarah.

Last Friday was Isaiah's last day and we had a work week this first week as well. Must be a universal type of thing. I called it "getting ready for summer". Isaiah called it "Is summer vacation over yet?".

I spent today with just my youngest four and thought of you, Carla. It was hard. I went furniture shopping and took them swimming at the Y. It was very hard.
