A Break

Mommy had a nervous breakdown of sorts on Saturday. I did not WANT to do anything. I did not want to get out of bed, make breakfast, entertain the troops, pick up, clean up, make lunch, entertain the troops......I wanted to stay in bed. I wanted to do something that I wanted to do. My husband was kind enough to take 3 cherubs to the park while Timmers napped. I read a book for 3 hours. It was enough. I am feeling ready to take on whatever comes my way today.

I'm glad you got a break, Carla. Pat did a wonderful thing for you.

Awesome for you. So, was the book anything good? (no, it's a stupid book, but I read it for 3 hours anyway!)

I also am glad to see Pat wasn't ... "babysitting" the kids. Who else loves THAT one - when it's "babysitting" for the DAD to watch his OWN kids? grrrr.
Whenever I hear THAT blunder I am as polite as I can possibly muster when correcting it (because I just can't let that one slide... :) )
