Nathan has a little sign posted over the alarm clock in his room. It says 7:30. That is the time he can come out in the morning. It was around 7:40 and I peeked on him to see if he was coming out. He told me that it wasn't "seven sirty" yet. This would indeed be a long day of clock watching for the next 7:30.

How did you explain it to him?
I tried out the "after" word as in it's after 7:30. He stayed in his room for quite a long time, watching, waiting, waiting and watching.
