My girlybug had a sleepover last night and won't be home until later today. There is a definite change in the house when one of the cherubs is gone. The boys did their boy thing and I, as the only female missed my Sarah! I tend to forget that being apart from my children for any length of time can be a good thing. I get a chance to think of all of the reasons that I love them so much!

I was away yesterday from all but one of my kids for about 6 hours. When I got back they all acted like a bunch of screaming monkeys. I missed them for about 5 minutes, then I wanted to hightail it out of there before the sitter escaped!
why can they go and we feel all warm and fuzzy, when we go and return all I got were the cold pricklies.
I am sorry, marlu. When I leave and come back it's Freak Out Time. I hear ya.
It is so weird, I know.
I miss Mikayla to death when she is gone for 5 days at camp, I cry almost half the way to pick her up and can't wait to see her. Then she is back home and driving me nuts......What's the dif?
I'm just amazed at how much quieter the house seems when just one or two are missing. I think the absence doesn them some good, too, 'cause mine just seem happier after an outing on their own.
I agree 100%!!
