Nathan came screaming to the house yesterday. Blood in his mouth and running down his chin onto his coat. I took stock of the situation. Teeth all there, tongue intact, lip had a cut and chin was completely scraped. He had forgotten his sled and went down a hill on his face, apparently. I cleaned him up and consoled him. Hugs and kisses. Momma kiss a boo boo. He ran back outside.
Daddy came home and said, "Wow, Nathan that looks awesome! Way to go, buddy!"

a hockey dad to the end.
Haha! I love it.
Also, Kristi, as we watched one of the MN Wild players mop up his face last night, I said to Richard, "Are you sure you want our daughters to play hockey? Don't you want them to stay pretty?"
He wasn't amused.
Ouch. I cringe just thinking about it.
Do you get the comic strip 'For Better or Worse' in your paper? Today's made me think of you :)
Ouch! Moms and Dads just fix it differently, don't they?
I love Dad's and their boys..they need both!
I thought maybe the bigs talked him into licking a fence post. This happened to me recently.
....and no Kristi, "I" didn't lick the fence post....
