I do not expect much in the way of conversating with Tims. Unless throwing himself on the floor for a snack counts. Got it. He has his words and uses them and it is fun to watch him pick up new ones. His newest word is "shoes". When I get him up for the day I always say good morning. I have never gotten a response until yesterday. I heard a tiny, "Hi!"

That is so cute!
I miss that. I can't remember them not talking. My house is so loud now.
And the ones at the end of the food chain know so much more than their older siblings did. Only because they've been exposed to so much more.
Anyway - I'm off for the weekly grocery trip a day early this week, so it should be uneventful as my helper is in preschool. I just better hurry or I'll be late picking him up!
Have a good one.
KR
Karla,
The irony for me is that with my first two I never thought they would talk and so I could hardly wait. The last two could take their own sweet time. As a rule, once a Streamer starts talking, they DO.NOT.STOP.
Good luck with the groceries. It's a jungle out there.
Carla, It was nice to put a warm hand with your wonderful blog when we met on Sunday. Keep up the good Mom-work, and keep honoring God with your story. I know you will.

Too cute!
Hi Aunt Kris,
So nice to meet you too! I love your niece to pieces!
Hi Carla,
I linked over to your blog from your post on Jill Stanek's. I lurk there everyday...lol. Just wanted to say I really enjoyed reading your blog and am so touched by your story.
I also LOVE your post below about AWANA verses. Especially considering it's Wednesday and those CUBBIE and SPARKS books are waiting for me. I swear, before I sat down on the computer, I thought, I need to go over AWANA verses. So that gave me a good chuckle!!
Thanks for sharing your story!!
Hi out on a limb!!
Thank you for the sweet comments!
I left you a note on your blog. Tag. You're it.
See you at Jill's. :)
Just a little update because I'm so shocked. I did shop today without my helper. I spent over $150, so you know it wasn't a grab and go. But I was out of the store in less than an hour!!!!! I was even early for pick up. Early! I chatted with people there. This was especially shocking as I had bumped into a mom I knew while in produce. And I commented on how we had no helpers with us (I think her youngest is f/t in school now anyway.) And she said how the helpers add like a 1/2 hour. I don't know, maybe with the pot of coffee I was moving a little quicker than usual (jk!)
I still can not believe it.
And one more thing. I would have loved to join you for that hot chocolate on the couch last week. But I think I left my comments then was gone. No idea doing what.
So good luck tomorrow for you, right?
I'll be in a classroom volunteering (yay!) and doing kindergarten registration that I would not even be doing if another mom had not mentioned it to me!
Good night - KR
Karla,
You have set the bar on grocery shopping speed! I give you snaps for one hour! WOOT!
