Was yesterday Christmas Day? It sure felt like it to me. The littles were picked up in the morning by an angel of mercy. I was in my house alone for the first time in years! Hellllooooo? Hellllooooo? Is anybody home except me? NO! I did a bunch of errands and raced home to park it on the couch with a movie and nail polish. What a sweet day.
Oh, it didn't stop there. I was taken out to dinner by my sister and my mom.(I mean Pat's sister and mom but for sake of clarity let's go with what I wrote.)After that we went to Orchestra Hall where Kathy Mattea sang for us. The tears fell as she sang Mary, Did You Know. Breathtaking words. My heart is all stirred up to celebrate CHRISTmas. I suggest purchasing the Good News or Joy for Christmas Day CD for friends and family. Go. Run to the crowded shopping malls with crabby shoppers or order them online. :)

Carla, I'm so glad to hear about your great day. Kathy Mattea is terrific! She has a great Christmas album, and I love her version of "Mary Did You Know." I'm so jealous that you got to see her in concert.
That is my all time favorite Christmas song. I'm so glad you had a wonderful "me" day. How fun. Yeah for Carla!
