Joshua and I were talking about how tall he is getting and the fact that in a couple of years his voice would change. He noticed at Thanksgiving his cousins' voices had changed and wondered what that was about. He grew thoughtful and quiet. I knew some deep thought was coming. I braced myself. "Mom, when my voice changes will it be as low as yours?"

Actually, I think there is a time during the "change" that the son does sound like his Mom. I have called plenty of friends and started talking only to find out that I am talking to their teen-age son. That doesn't last too long then they sound like a "Man".
