At any given time in our house there is talking. It is a constant buzz of words. I find that to be one of the hardest things about mommyhood. The yammering, yapping and yipping of young'uns. My brain cannot take it all in and I quickly become tired. Can we say overstimulated? Silence is golden, people. I could change one hundred diapers in silence. I just know it.
This morning there was the talking. All 4 had their yaps a flappin but they did not seem to be involved with each other. Pat and I actually held a conversation. Oh, and a kiss. Pat looked at the cherubs and said, "Who's everybody talking to??"

That will be hard for me, too. I like our quiet little house.
Constant chatter wears me out, too.
There used to be a commercial for chewy granola bars that said, "Chewy stops the chatter." It didn't work in my household.
Also, you guys get up really early.
By 5:30 baby.
I had to laugh out loud today. I read your post yesterday about noise in your home. As I was getting dinner together, I stopped and took a look around. HOLY COW! Both babies were crying, Judah was making some load car noises, and Levi was whining about some chap stick. The volume was on high. What amazed me was that it didn't even faze me.
It fazes me. Totally fazes me.
