Puzzled
I should probably just leave this for Kelli but I am going to tackle it. I am puzzled by the news. More specifically when there is a heinous crime, some interviewer always goes and talks to the neighbors. They say the same thing. Every.Time. "He was a good kid. He seemed like a nice guy. I can't believe she did it. She seemed like a nice person." Are they really that clueless? I am patiently waiting for someone to say, "Yeah, he was a total whack job and I am really glad they locked him up. He was a ticking time bomb."

How well DO we know our neighbors? Whether they're the Cleavers (as in Beaver) themselves or total whack jobs, it's a great question to consider...
I think we all might be "whack jobs" at one time or another, people usually don't share their dark side- Until they burst-L.
I don't get it. What do I have to do with this?? Or is it just that I, in Erin's words, am opinionated?
Am I getting a reputation here?? Should I be offended? Are we in a fight?
Hey, Mrs. Puzzle. Mrs. Kellispuzzles.
Total fight.
Break it up! Break it up! No more fights. Reconciliation is the answer! JK. Get it yet Kelli? The post is called "Puzzled", Carla says she is "puzzled" by the news? Hint: Your blog is called Life's Little PUZZLES- L.
So I guess I should be concerned that my neighbor is building a rocket in his back yard, then? Or that his children are out at all hours playing with uzis?
Be very concerned. Unless he seems like a pretty nice guy. And the children seem nice.
L, it was a joke. All of it. I get it.
Carla,
that was, word-for-word, what I expect my friends would say if I ever went sideways...
K- I know. I was joking too-L.
Swampy, I'd say that you seemed like you were a nice guy--even when you were using the uzi.
We're the whack jobs on our block and I know it. I embrace it.
We keep strange hours, have been seen bickering (ok, fighting) in our driveway, our dog runs away all the time, and my husband is scary looking and owns thousands of dollars of tools. What would YOU think of us? I wouldn't make friends with us...
When Richard is arrested after going off the deep end, we'll know what to say won't we?
Yeah, he always seemed like a whack job to me.
LOL!
I'll tell him you said so.
I usually think the same thing, but I did - only once, I think - hear something to the effect of "We all expected it to happen someday." Don't remember exactly what it was about, but it was a teenage boy they were talking about.
I'm listening to your boy sing right now. :D Angelic.
butrfly-let me know if you need a translation. :)
