Leaves

We have neighbors who own leaf blowers. I see them out there blowing each and every offending leaf out of their yards and into ours. I don't mind. I happen to love the red, orange and yellow colors, the crispity, crunchity leafy sounds and the entertainment that leaves bring to the littles. Yes, the raking commences in good time but for now we enjoy our colorful, messy yard. Besides, we have a leaf blower too. It's called wind.

Our neighbor has an enormous maple tree that "leaks" spinner seeds in the Spring. I'm forever pulling baby maple trees out of my flower garden. Think how pretty my yard could be if I just planted them somewhere else?

We have an advantage in the Fall as well, it's called "lack of trees"!

I, for one, don't mind a bit.

gotta wonder...i was watching a guy use a leaf-blower and it seemed like more work than raking, and it sure was LOUD!! (thanks for almost waking the baby!!)
