Friday Flicks
We have a tradition. Every Friday night is movie night. Oh, and sometimes all day when Momma is 2 days past fried. It sounds really fun. Getting pillows and blankets, jammies, popcorn and letting the good times roll. It is so not fun. The bigs love it. They find their happy places and actually watch the movie. The littles just haven't caught onto proper movie appreciating habits. There is the sitting. That would be good. Oh, and the staring. That is also very nice. And the silence. That is too sweet for words. I try to keep Nathan and Timmers out of Joshua's room and the litter box and Daddy's office. I have fights to break up and nonstop screeching to listen to. I watch the clock until I can put the littlest Streamer to bed. I always catch myself being so glad it's Friday Flicks and then my expectations are shot. I can't believe I am sitting here blogging when I could be catching the end of our flick. I shall keep my fingers crossed.

At Anna's 2-yr. chech-up the Dr. asked if she watches much TV. I said she won't even sit long enough to watch a commercial. The Dr. said oh that's great! I said not really and that I'm wishing for the day I can plop her in front of the TV and get something done. He just smiled.
