Monster

Timmers picked a book to read last night. It is not my favorite. Even though I grew up with the author I find his work completely annoying. It just doesn't seem as polished as other books I have read.
Here is a snippet. And I quote,"You guess milk, right? This yummy milk make me think about COOKIES, and when me think about cookies me want to eat COOKIES! ME WANT COOKIES!"
One would think even a Cookie Monster needs an editor.

I always have a hard time reading Elmo books, too.

I heard cookie monster is now "veggie monster." Is that true??

i think he needs a life coach too!! LOL! i have to really work to read his books the way they are written. we won't even go there about his lack of self-control, his obsessive-compulsive nature... hahahahahaha! Gotta LOVE him though.

It is heading to the back of the couch with that wretched spin the wheel Farm book. Nathan asked about it the other day. It's been MIA for months........

I know that Cookie Monster really did go healthy. He can have cookies once in a while, though. Good grief. Give the poor monster a cookie!

This week on Sesame Street, Cookie Monster was eating daisies. Now I'm putting two and two together... (Are daisies even edible? Vonda--you're the daisy expert.)

Seriously, though, the bad grammar does bother me a little. Likewise with Junie B. Jones--as funny as those books are!
