It's The Law

I am a rebel without a cause. I like to buck the system in my own little way. Break some rules, live on the edge. I remember when every baby I have had sat facing the back of the car. Weird. I thought it was just the dumbest thing. I wanted to see a little face and staring at the seat of a car couldn't have been a thrill for him either. I usually held out until 11 months, 3 1/2 weeks and 2 days and turned him around. I know. Timothy will be finding himself in the land of Skim Milk and Honey soon. He is closing in on 22 months and I am tired of buying Vitamin D milk. We are not big milk drinkers but buying two kinds is getting to me. Wah. Just who would know? Well, besides you? I can see it now. At 23 months, 3 1/2 weeks and 2 days, Timothy will have a peanut butter and honey sammich with a sippy cup full of skim milk. Yeah, you don't wanna mess with this Momma.

I have fought a long, lonely battle for milk standardization in my home, but have lost. Sigh.

Yet another reason why this mama will stop at 2 kiddos. We all now drink the same milk. I smile every time I purchase the gallon of liquid gold.

Wait.
Under two-year-olds can't drink regular milk?
I knew about the honey thing. And the carseat thing.
What else am I missing?
Crap.

According to Kristi two year olds don't need to drink milk at all. Am I tattling again?

I bet you're not supposed to say "crap" in front of an under-two-year old, either.
I have so much to learn.
Teach me obi-wan-Carla.

We don't serve milk either Kristi- We haven't gave any of our kids milk for the last 5 years. Think about it- HMMMmmmm- We are drinking milk from a cow? Do cows drink from humans? Studies have shown that the country's that have the highest milk consumption rates also have the highest rates of Osteoperosis (sp?) Could it just be the Dairy Corps telling us our kids need milk so they can make tons off money off of unknowing parents? Watch every add on T.V. selling dairy -they are all sponsored by some kind of Dairy Council. /Laura
