My grandma used to darn socks. I can still picture her in her rocking chair with needle and thread. She used some wooden knobby thing to sew up all of the holes in her husband's socks.
I have my own method. Yesterday while folding socks I found a few of Joshua's all full of holes. I tossed them into the garbage and said, "Darn socks!"

lol... "darn socks" yep! Love it!
Thank you for commenting on my bearpartylady blog. :)
That's exactly how I darn socks, too.
That is beautiful.
Hi Annette,
You are welcome for the comment! Thanks for yours too! :)
Hi Katie, and Swampy! How's it going?
Hey, I guess I am normal. Thats how I darn socks too! Re-attaching buttons hardly ever happens either. If it does, chances are the child has outgrown the item anyway.
You make me laugh my friend. I needed that. Thank you.
too funny! I'm definitely with you on the "darn socks"!
Thanks for your sweet comment about my boy! I definitely cried the first time I saw his picture too!

Brilliant! I've always wanted to learn how to do that!
Richard pulls his back out of the trash. Go figure.
Why throw them away when they are "perfectly good?"
OH, Richard likes his "holy socks"
