After a total snitfit from Sarah and a timeout for her, telling Timmers to eat nice and giving Nathan a warning, I wanted to make sure the breakfast chaos was over.
Me "Nathan, are you finished?"
Nathan "What?"
Me "Nathan, are you finished eating?"
Nathan "Huh? What?"
Me "Nathan, are you finished eating your breakfast?"
Nathan "What does finished mean?"

"snitfit" eh? Hmmm, I've got a not-so-nice term that rhymes with that and sounds very similar-one I don't say, but sometimes think in my head, to describe my child's tantrums. Snitfit--I like it.
Oh, and thanks for the drawing pictures suggestion in regards to Abby. (Thank Kris for me, too.) It worked well and we may start a book of our own!
