Another day. Another flood. The water had been left to run in the bathroom sink for about an hour. The sink runneth over, the bathroom floor runneth over, and now the laundry room in the basement runneth over as well. The furnace got a shower. My husband got to work on it and said a few swear words to himself, I'm sure. This one is all my fault. I told Nathan to go wash his hands and face.

Of course, according to him, he didn't do "nusin". He just went back into the bathroom to use it and discovered the flood.
He's half right...he didn't do "nusin" in regards to turning off the water. Although he sure did "sumpin" in regards to turning ON the water.
so much for flopping on the couch!
I don't recall Timmers or Anna ever doing anything that creative in the house; Anna did once pour out a bag of multi-colored rice krispies on the dining-room floor because she wanted to explore her use of 'empty space' in a design. It was so cool that I couldn't be angry and the dogs cleaned it up after I took a picture of it.
The dogs, on the other hand gave us our new wood floor upstairs and all new livingroom furniture.
I understand why people say that children are expensive. They are leaving a path of destruction in their wake.
Or maybe that is just our cherubs??!!
Uh-uhhh; I only stipulated indoors. Yesterday I looked out the front window and Timmerss was lifting a decorative brick over his head, then smashing it down on an umrella in the driveway. I asked him why he was destroying the umbrella; "I wasn't." He said. "I was destroying the brick."
That's just a small sampling. not that your kids aren't special.
