Moving Day
My sweet neighbor Grandma Jean is moving in October. She needs an apartment and found the perfect one and although I am happy for her, I am sad for us. I have sobbed on her porch and in her arms a couple of times already and my children have heavy hearts. The realtor's sign went up a couple of days ago and I started contemplating how to discourage prospective buyers. How hard would a haunted Brady Bunch house be to pull off? I have been watching people drive up, get out of their cars and start wandering around, all interested like. That's the moment. The moment I tell all 4 children to go play in the yard. "Play Wild West! Use your outside voices! Hurry!"

How far is Grandma Jean moving? Will you be able to visit?
She is moving maybe 2-3 miles away.:) But you know how it's always so quiet where older people live? I will bring them to visit...I just don't want to.
I think if you incorporated paintball guns...
My granparents are selling their houseboat this year. I will cry when they put their house on the market, too.
(Oh, ps - I'll get back to you today [email] - hopefully I'll get a chance at work.)
Just have the kids go over there and start raising hell.
I've been thinking about it, and perhaps the way to go here, is to sample some of Kristi's AWANA nights.
Nude Night would be a deterrent for possible new neighbors.
Just a thought.
Nude Family Washing Cars Night.
Well, my kids are terrified of Chuck E. Cheese. Maybe you could rent him every time a prospective buyer comes by :)
Carla, Now you've got the spirit!
Have ChuckECheese, the A&W Root Bear and that stupid chicken from baseball (?) come over and mud wrestle.
