Check

Summer is winding down. School starts in 2 weeks. I am ready to do my end of summer checklist.
1. Moved Nathan to a big boy bed.
2. Potty trained Nathan.
3. Taught Timmers to walk.(ok, I helped)
4. My 10 year old now says, "Is there anything I can help you with, Mom?"
5. Took many field trips with four. Target, Walmart, a park, a petting zoo, church, bank, and post office.
6. Met basic physical and emotional needs of four. Including but not limited to-feeding, dressing, changing, bathing, listening, feeding, hugging, kissing, reading.

This list shouts,"Hey, I have accomplished a lot!"
Now I feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Yep, you've achieved a lot. The most important things...

I'm seriously impressed you did all of this, with 4!! Good for you :)!

plus all of the things you mom-types do that never get recognised as achievements; giving support to hubby so that we can feel validated and appreciated; ensuring that the 'little things' get done (no one ever notices that the house is clean, only when it's not); shuttling everyone; buying toothbrushes, socks, shampoo and toilet paper and then putting them out so that we can use them up and leave the wrappers on the sink... I could and should go on, but it's time for me to throw my clothes on the floor, hang my towel on the bed and leave the lights on in the kitchen before I climb between sheets I didn't wash, or put on the bed. G'night.

How did you potty train Nathan? I must know...it's my turn now with my 2 1/2 year old.

First off Nathan was 3 1/2. Not interested until now. Had him going potty outside, cause it's summer. Good bye diapers in the daytime. Cold turkey. Underpants, man! Potty chair and then onto the Cheerios in the toilet game and WA LA. Sounds simple right? It wasn't but we did it. I wish you much luck. Remember that it shall get done. By high school for sure.

Thanks for the tips on potty training. I sure hope my son's ready because we'll save over $50 a week at day care when he is.

You mean they charge extra if the cherubs aren't potty trained?? I should probably do daycare. That's where all the money is.
