Sing It

Life's tough. When you are 6 1/2(don't forget the 1/2!!) and your Momma wakes you up at 7am for summer school at 8. Sour looks are being shot my way. No matter. I wrote a song. That's not entirely true. The tune I borrowed from Neil Sedaka(who?)but the words are mine.
To my darling girl Sarah
Love, Mom
Don't take the moon away from me
Then you'll leave my face in misery
Cause if you crow(cockadoodledoo!)
then I'll be blue
Cause waking up is hard to do.
They say that waking up is hard to do
Now I know I know that it's true
Don't say that this is the end
Instead of waking up I wish that we were
sleeping in again.

Background singers would be bop shoo opping or
shoo be doo dooing or cockadoodleydooing right about
here.

I think you've stumbled onto a new career option! Song writing!

What if I did my frilled lizard imitation, whilst cutting ribbons and singing the song? OH YEAHHHHHHH!

I've been singing the Bugaloos theme song in my head (and out loud) for a few days now. I thank you, Carla, for the new song I can repeat over and over and over.... :)
