I have a bone to pick. It is about people that live to tell you how busy they are. "We should get together, but I am SOOOOOO BUSSSSSYYYY. I can't promise anything. I'll call you. Did I mention how busy I am? I just can hardly believe how busy I am." Hey, I am busy too. So are you. We are all busy. That is the truth. What I don't appreciate is the air of superiority that comes with the word busy. They are not telling me just to tell me. They are giving me the big HINT that their busyness is more important than mine. Say what you mean then. "We should get together, but I am SOOOOOO IMPORTANTTTTT. I can't promise anything. I'll call you. Did I mention how important I am? I can hardly believe how important I am."
Listen up-this is important.
If you want to be with me, make time for me.

Karli, I want to spend time with you, but I am SO-O-O-O-O....BROKE! And, since you're broke, too, our get-together will have to wait.
We only have to wait until I figure out a way to make money - my printing press is on the fritz.
also broke, out of a job as of today - maybe we can pack up your children and hang out by a pool or lake one day (not sure what i'm getting myself into on that one...)
Steph
...or it sends the message that whatever - the clutter of their life - is more important than YOU. Make the time or shut up, right?
Do you think they're too busy to read your blog?
I'm not.
idnak-print some money and get over here and pick me up!
Steph-"pack up my children" is not my fave sport lately. You need to come over and see them in captivity!
Joys-RIGHT!
Erin-I am not too busy to read yours either!

I had an old friend tell me that over Christmas, right after she said her Mother In Law took her kids for 2 weeks...WTH??
