Lost and Found

I took one last look around the garage. I brought out the ladder, said a prayer and searched one more time. I assumed I put the hardware up high for safekeeping but then there was the pile of jewels that I sought, sitting on a table. Just sitting there, taunting me. I am just so thankful that they were in the last place I looked.

My mother used to make us all chant "Help us, St. Jude!" whenever she lose anything. I used to just be awestuck when it would turn up. And kind of scared. I mean, who WAS that guy?

Patron Saint of lost things? That's my guess.

Yay! I'm glad I'm not the only one who prays for help finding lost things.
The hardest thing for me is remembering to thank God for helping me find my lost keys, shoe, or check card as I run out the door. It's usually 10 miles down the road that I remember to thank Him for helping me with something so dumb...
That's what's cool about our God. He cares about my keys.
He also helped me pick out my wedding dress. : )
