Hammock
Yesterday was the perfect day for a swing in the hammock. I drag all the poles out and the hammock itself, all the while begging Nathan to give Timothy another push. I start setting up the best Mother's Day present I have ever received.(so far)I have a thought that starts out as a question in my brain, "Now, where are those..?" My brain stops because I know I will never find them. The hooks and the chain will not be found. Oh, I search. I search high and low for 27 minutes as my boyz whine on the swingset. With heavy heart I think back to last season and the packing up of said hammock. I took the hardware for it and hid it. I hid it from the smaller people I live with so none of it would be looked at, touched, thrown, licked, sucked on or lost. I apparently hid them from myself as well. Goodbye hooks and chain. Thanks for the memories.

Maybe you hid them under Josh's bed.
I think I might have to check...hang on a sec.
My husband does this all the time. I decides to put stuff in a special place then forgets where.
One thing for sure...to provide a little hope, the parts are exactly where you put them.
I'd be happy if Gavin would just put things away!
Oh I hope you find them! I used DH's hammock all the time. love it!
I was just going to tell you to go into your kitchen and start looking for something obscure like cinnamon and it will turn up. That is what always happens to me...except it happens about two months after I go looking for it.
