Ch Ch Ch Changes
I forced change yesterday. I dragged the boxspring and mattress in the house from the garage and left them in the dining room as a huge hint for #3. Time for little big man to move out of the crib. I took apart the crib but he cried so hard I put it back together. He then cried because he wanted a big boy bed. I handed him a screwdriver and pressed on. Crib down, bed up. Deal with it. He enjoyed the whole experience of reading in bed and napping in bed and showing off for the whole family. We did the bedtime routine. Nighty night, Nathan. When I kissed him, he whispered, "Good night Mommy. I want my crib."

"Good night, Nathan. I like your big-boy bed much better."
Awww such a huge step!!
Not a hard transition?
What can you do? #4 needs the crib. :)
Too cute! Love his little, heartwrenching last words~LOL! (((((HUGS))))) sandi
Awww...so sweet! My little man is out of the crib, but I think my daughter will be a bit of a struggle...
Way to force the issue Karli. Way to go Nathan for getting to help take apart the crib! Whoo Hoo!
Transitions are never easy, but I think having him help was a good idea.
I handed him a screwdriver. "Helping" does not describe what he did.
That's too cute..
