Sarah tends to embellish. She is the only female sibling and oh, the drama we have witnessed! She is a star at meltdowns, chaos, and manipulation. I am so proud. Last night she was playing with Nathan and Timothy. They were having a blast and then Sarah ran up to me with a stern look on her face. "Timothy showed me his middle finger!" She was completely dumbfounded when there was no punishment. I scooped up my 16 month old and gave him a loving squeeze. Where is the justice in that?

Oh gosh! Girls! We are so dramatic. I admit, I can be! :)
I've been accused of that "crime" many times by Josh and Sarah.
I keep trying to explain to them that changing the car radio stations using my index finger is not the same thing as swearing in my heart.
Isaiah told me that he heard someone talking at school about a "bad finger". He asked what that meant and I told him there's no such thing as a "bad finger" since God made every part of him. That worked for now. Isaiah's idea of a bad word is saying shut-up. I won't cross the swear word bridge til we have to.
Katie,
Joshua learned about his middle finger and the word it stood for last year in public school. We had to cross that bridge sooner than we wanted to. :(
Hahaha! So funny! I too have an only daughter and a bunch of boys. So far, she's not the reigning drama queen. But I see that dramatic little sparkle in her eyes and I just know it's going to rear its ugly head one of these days. hahaha. I love that she expected the baby to be punished. So, so funny.
lol It is always fun to have a drama queen! At least you know she will always keep you up to date on what is going on with your boys. ;)
You do have a drama queen on your hands!
