A Bee C
Spring always brings nature into focus. The smell of lilacs, the rustling of leaves in a breeze, the color of green and BUGS! My kidlings seem to be fascinated and terrified at the same time. Walking around as many as they can and then, turning back to slowly circle an insect. Nathan was on the scream porch yesterday playing when I heard him yell, "A bee, a bee, a bee!" I dropped whatever I was doing and hunted for a flyswatter. I looked in the junk drawer and found one. The bug murdering part was torn in half so as I ran to Nathan I could hear my instrument of death flapping in the wind. I grabbed my son and moved him to safety only to beckon him back to SHOW me the bee. He pointed. I stood there squinting and then saw what I thought to be a fly, but on further inspection it looked to be a fly's pet. We are talkin tiny here, people. Oh, this mama bear went in for the kill to save her son. Have no fear. As I walked away a very grateful Nathan said, "Swank you, Momma for getting de bee."

"Bug murdering part" hahahaha. You are a riot.
Love the drama!
Sarah ran up to me the other day when I got home from work and couldn't wait to show me her baby snake (a grub worm).
I friend of mine has an electric fly swatter. All you have to do is touch the bug with the swatter and its bye bye bug. I even saw it in action. Neither of us had the guts to touch it ourselves to see how big the shock was. You could really save the day with that.
SuperHero Mom for sure!
awww love what he said to you! What a sweetie!
Mama bears will do anything for their cubs. ;)
