Bday Boy

How I wish I ran a tight ship. All my ducks in a row, everything labeled in clear plastic tubs, cards sent out in the nick of time. Nathan was with me while I shopped for his birthday today. I hid his presents behind the diapers and under the paper towels. I redirected him while I found the cake mix and fudgy frosting. I worked right up until party time, wrapping and frosting. Nathan enjoyed the gifties and then I realized that at 3 years old he would have been just as happy if I had gone through Joshua's toys and wrapped up the junk he no longer plays with.

That is so true! Why do we spend all kinds of money on our cherubs, just to watch the expensive toys and junk fall into the Rubbermaid tubs never to be touched again?

Got a great idea! Shop for your next birthday cherub at Kristi's Throw Out Box! Zero cost and it's still new to them!

Oh, that's so bad...
