Party Girl

Sarah is having her first girly birthday party. She is 6 and hey, it's a milestone! I held off on throwing kidder parties until Joshua was 8, but now I think they are good fun! I am one of those moms who doesn't tell my children where we are going until we are there or at least in the van. The constant questions and heartbeak when things don't work out are hard to take. Sarah is over the moon about this though. She has been planning for years it seems. I let her make the guest list, pick the prizes, decide on games and clean her room. Today is the day and even though the party is not until 1:30pm, the excitement is getting to her I think. She looked out the window at 8:30am and yelled,"Someone just dropped their kid off! Someone just dropped their kid off!"
