Cleaning Up My Act
I must admit, I am not the best at cleaning out the cupboards or the fridge. I usually have one or two bottles of dressing that expired a couple of years ago, or some science experiment lurking in the recesses of the refrigerator. Most of the food in the freezer is just taking up space but you and I both know how bad that stuff stinks as it defrosts in the garbage! It hurts no one just sitting there. How many years can an opened box of instant mashed potato flakes stare at me? At least 3. I am better with produce, though you wouldn't know it by the conversation I had today. Sarah and I were eating carrots while we played Sorry and she stopped and counted the "rings" in her carrot. "Mom, did you know that this carrot is 30 years old?"

If that was a baby carrot I can only imagine how old the regular sized carrots are.
I estimate 60 years.
