The cherubs and I followed the neon pink signs to a Multi-Family Sale this morning where NOTHING was marked under $5.00!! I kid you not. I kept wandering around because I could not believe my eyes. There was a snowsuit for $25. Yes, it was Land's End, beautiful colors, in good shape, it will last for years, blahblahblah. The point of a yard sale is to GET RID OF YOUR STUFF not open your own neighborhood second hand store! Nathan was gesturing wildly at the Rescue Rangers play set, but for $40 I had to pass. Good luck with your new store, lady!
The morning was redeemed when I raided the free box at 2 other yard sales. Sippy cups, baby spoons, pom poms for Sarah, a football for Joshua, binoculars for Nathan and I found a book for my husband. I only had to spend $10 for gas to get all that great free stuff!

thanks for the book.
Was there anything in that free box for you mom?
Maybe that lady was so proud of her stuff that she wanted to keep it all for herself.
What was the book?
Mom bought a pair of shorts for a quarter. The book was some businessy type thing. A manbook.
A "businessy type thing" = manbook? Are you inferring that only men relate to the business environment? Do you realize how far women have come in the last 50 years, and now you just want to turn back the clock?
Women are just as equipped to handle business too, and your obvious gender bias doesn't change that fact!
[I'm not sure if that sounded very feminist, but I figured I'd throw some diversity of opinion in here, just to shake things up....]
Dearest Joey,
I enjoyed your impression of a feminist very much.
I will change my answer. A Patbook.
