Talking

There is a lot of talk going on around here. Constant talking. Joshua and Sarah are continuously interrupting each other to get their words out, Nathan starts yelling louder when I can't understand him and Timothy is now doing that loud squealing/cooing thing. By the end of the day my brain is abuzz. I started a conversation with Joshua and Sarah about introverts and extroverts. I explained that Mommy and Daddy are both introverted and we "recharge our batteries" with some quiet alone time. I went on to explain extroversion. My kids listened politely and asked questions when they had them. I wondered to myself if this was my nice way of getting them to SHUT THEIR YAPS. (if only for a moment)

Next time just tell 'em to shut their yappers. Saves you breath, and really, what's a couple thou for therapy down the road?
