Invasion
The ants are back. The big, black army ants are marching into this house two by two. I can hear them unpacking. When spring hits the ant migration begins. They are everywhere! Joshua loves to remind me of the ant incident of 2005. I was making peanut butter and honey toast. I grabbed that cute little bear of honey and flipped the lid to find a HUGEMONGOUS ant. I made some sound. Kinda like, "NNNNNNNNGGGGGGAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" and tossed the ant and the bear! My son just laughs and laughs at the constant(!!) retelling of it. But it was nothing compared to the beetle incident of 2004.

Hurrah! Hurrah!
Hang on I gotta tie my shoe...
see this is why we get those e-mails for great household tips to pass on, household tip #11 draw a chalk line around the ants or by where they are coming in, "supposedly" ants won't cross the chalk line. Ok try it out now and Carla tell me if it works. I'm not doing very good on my first day of assistant to the stream-household are I?...
Make sure you draw it like the ones the cops draw around dead people on the street--then they really won't dare cross your line.
