Karate
Joshua hadn't been to karate yet this week and I was dreading it. I haven't actually sat and watched him for months because...four by 40!! I was trying to think positive all day about it. It was in a new building and it was much bigger, which was nice but I looked around and there were all the moms that knew each other with all their kids that knew each other. And then there was me. I sat near the door wanting to bolt. Joshua seemed to be a little off his game but was having a blast. I had packed a big bag of things for Nathan and Sarah to do but NO! They wanted snacks, man! Dug out the goldfish crackers and while Timothy urped a lake on my shoulder, I noticed out of the corner of my eye that Nathan had thrown his baggie of goldfish skyhigh and hit someone with it. Sorry. I began to shrink. Timmers grew tired and started fussin with 10 minutes to go. He has a screechy cry that only dogs can hear and I imagined all eyes on my little fam. Boy, was I having a low self-esteem day or what??!! Nathan ate his goldfish as he continually punched and kicked the air, yelling, "HIIIYAAAH!" Finally packed the crew up and headed out to the van. Joshua "helped" Nathan to not run into the parking lot by grabbing his hood, choking him. Home sweet home. Pat works late on Thursdays and I rushed through dinner to pop in a movie at 5:46pm. Made popcorn and collapsed on the couch. I did hear something through my fog. It sounded like whiny children. Where's the butter? I wanted butter. I don't see any butter. I like my popcorn with butter. You said you were going to put butter on. I blocked it out and thought to myself, Where's my husband? I want my husband. I don't see my husband. I like my husband. You said you were coming home, husband.

Oh! We haven't had the time to talk about this yet babe. I picked up a part-time gig working until 7:30 on Thursday nights. I tried to send you an email yesterday by the system was down. I tried to call you on the cell phone but it is temporarily unavailable at this time. So, I hope taking this part time job is ok with you. I'll wait for your comment.
By the way, what is for supper and what time does Josh need to be at play practice?
Dear husband o'mine,
Yes, Chicken Fajitas, 6pm.
Don't forget to kiss me as I fly
out the door.
