I was really hard up for adult conversation yesterday. I realized this after I had blabbed away to the Mormons that came to my door. (BTW they don't like to be called Mormons anymore. They are the Elders from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints or LDS's.) We had a good dialogue. They were pleasant and smiley and it was a gorgeous day to shoot the breeze. Unfortunately for them I didn't buy what they were sellin.

Mormons go PC! Gotta love it!
When I worked in Yosemite National Park last summer in California, I came across more Mormons than I ever had here in the Midwest. They definitely don't use the word "Mormon." It's "LDS." The first few times I heard it, I had to ask again. "What?" "LDS - you know, Mormon." "Oh...huh. [When did they change it?]"
