Pedal Pusher
On one of our anniversaries Patrick and I went camping up north. We were on a quest to bike all these cool trails that Pat spent hours mapping out. Soon after we started out, I began to swat mosquitos. Not a few mosquitos, mind you. I had a cloud of them around my head, buzzing into my helmet, obstructing my vision, driving me insane. To compensate for the mosquito misery I began to pedal like a mad woman. Faster and faster and faster. I heard the faint voice of my husband. "Why are you going so fast?" I yelled back that the faster I pedaled the sooner this trek would be over. Unfortunately this trail took about 3 hours to bike. Time to reevaluate. The day long canoe trip was wonderful!
