As I was cutting gum out of my 5 year old daughters hair, I contemplated my life. My first thought was How can this be my life?? Now that there are 4 Stream children on the scene, we have reached a new level of chaos. It goes without saying that I love my cherubs dearly but wow...there are times when I would rather be at the mall ALONE. As a rule of thumb, when my children are all snuggled in bed with visions of sugarplums dancing in their heads...I feel more affection. Yesterday, there was a tad bit less affection as Sarah and Nathan whined for yogurt, Timothy fussed, the doorbell rang and Joshua sang a chorus of "Mom, Hey Mom!!"
This profession of motherhood is boot camp for life. We just need a few good women.

Got two words for ya hon...PEANUT BUTTER! :) Fixes the gum problem AND it's good for those times when you can't figure life out. It comes down to something as simple as peanut butter. Something that could've had a purpose all on its own, but smashed up a bit? Even nummier...a whole new ball game. So, I guess, when life gives you peanuts (even four little peanuts under 8), make peanut butter.
